About Us
“Protecting Our Oceans, Empowering Communities”
The Sea of Life: KILo Project (Keep It Local) is dedicated to preserving marine biodiversity and uplifting local communities in Lian, Batangas. Through buoy installations, artificial reef expansion, and sustainable livelihood initiatives, we aim to restore marine ecosystems while supporting local fisherfolk.
We believe that conservation starts at the grassroots level, and with the right partnerships and community involvement, we can ensure the longevity of marine life for future generations.
You Have the Power to Save Our Oceans
The Sea of Life: KILo Project is an initiative of JCI Manila, in partnership with local and national organizations, to protect marine ecosystems, promote sustainable fishing practices, and enhance public awareness about marine conservation. Every action, from installing protective buoys to planting artificial coral reefs, contributes to a thriving ocean and a resilient coastal community.
